Welcome to the first Tights and Fights of 2021! Has this year been an immediate improvement of the political strife and international turmoil of last year? Not really! But at least there’s a lot of good wrestling!

Let’s start with NXT New Year’s Evil. What a great top to bottom show. We barely even remember to talk about the fantastic main event for how good the rest of the show is!

Plus, Lindsey saw her long dream fulfilled in the main event of Night One of Wrestle Kingdom 15: Kota Ibushi is the champ-champ of New Japan! 

Finally, we’ll talk about the latest version of Bullet Club arriving on multiple promotions near you.

Main Event

You knew him as Brodie Lee, the Leader of the Dark Order in AEW and Luke Harper, member of the Wyatt Family in WWE. In real life he was Jon Huber; a star gone entirely too soon. We heard the last few weeks from tons of people across wrestling who knew and loved him after he died on December 26th. We’ll discuss some of our favorite moments from his great career.
