Penta and Roman Reigns absolutely tore the house down in a brilliant World Heavyweight championship match. And this was shortly after Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan for the world title… at a house show of all places.

The Main Event: Sami Zayn wins the WWE Championship.

CM Punk had enough of Sami Zayn's antics. And he allowed Sami one more shot at the WWE Championship. And after interference from Johnny Gargano, Candace Lerae and Kevin Owens… Sami stood tall and is now a two time WWE Champion.

There’s a lot going on with the women in WWE. Chelsea Green, the new (Interim) WWE Champion fractured her orbital bone in her first night with the title. With Rhea Ripley fresh out of knee surgery, we can only hope that Chelsea’s reign won’t be heavily affected.

Tatum Paxley made the jump from NXT to align herself with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Even though Alexa and Charlotte have done well so far as a tag team, is this the best path for all of them? It’s a big question, especially since there are a lot of three-woman teams cropping up lately.

The women's roster has gotten a big boost in star power lately. In addition to Alexa Bliss making her return this week, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer both want a shot at Liv's World Championship. For the first time ever, SummerSlam took place across two nights. Minnesota was host to the biggest version of the event that had some brilliant hits and some middling shows.

Oba Femi was declared the future of the business after he pinned Brock Lesnar. But did this match really benefit from the Cell outside of the branding? And Chad Gable has finally finished his redemption story for the Intercontinental title… so of course we’re looking forward to who may take that belt off him.

It was a long time coming, but we finally got a satisfactory conclusion to the saga of Roman vs. Seth. It was for the highest stakes yet and by every indication it really truly paid off.
