Brandon welcomes Emmett Stanton back to the podcast to take a look at one of the most successful comedies of the 1980s. 9 to 5 placed a comedic spotlight on the plight of working women in America. The film, directed by Colin Higgins, segues from satire to full out farce. Brandon and Emmett discuss the powerhouse trio of Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton (in her film debut). They also pay tribute to the late, great Dabney Coleman whose portrayal of Mr. Hart walks the line between villain and sympathetic scoundrel.
