Three major wrestling shows this weekend? It’s time to pregame with the Tights and Fights podcast!

What an unfortunate pattern of injuries to women’s wrestlers. Mercedes Mone’, Liv Morgan and Dakota Kai will all be out of action for a while after they all got hurt within days of each other. 

But there are also a lot of women that deserve our attention. We can all agree that WWE’s women’s wrestling scene is a little bit of a mess right now, outside of some bright spots like Rhea Ripley. That’s left us with a lot of questions: Are they trying to turn Zelina into a female underdog a la Rey Mysterio? Why is Raquel Rodriguez just smiling constantly? Is Natasha the best choice for Rhea’s first competitor?

Plus, we’ll finally settle what we’ll watch of the wrestling shows this week: The one we’re morally opposed to, the one that feels like it may get lost in the shuffle or the one that’s been booked like an afterthought.

The Main Event: AJ Styles

AJ Styles rapidly rose to the top of the card of WWE when he debuted in 2016. His run so far has included championships at every level, including the WWE title twice. It's all been a culmination for a career that's taken him around (lol) the globe.
