As shops are having a hard time finding quality workers Kurt's local schools are shutting down their technical and automotive programs. Kurt and his wife, Crystal, created the idea of something called "Operative Talent" and many organizations jumped on board such as The Petty Family Foundation with Richard Petty, CREF, BASF and more!

Kurt owns KTL Restorations in Danville, VA which is where this project is starting up.
Operative Talent has multiple brands donating all kinds of things so that young people from their local VoTech can come in and work on this six figure vehicle and get hands on education and exposure in a positive way and the students can get college credit while doing it! They expect to have over 100 students through their shop in one way or another and allow them to have exposure to all aspects of automotive repair.
