When is the last time you really sat down and spoke to the older generation in your family? Whether it’s a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, we can learn a lot about our lineage if we take time to listen. The trouble is, many families (if not all) face some type of ancestral trauma. And talking about history can stir up major upsets. Sometimes it can even leave family members feeling disconnected and damaged.

Susan Greif will be the first one to tell you, intergenerational trauma is real. As the daughter of holocaust survivors, she had her own family relationships that needed mending. And through art, Susan found a way to help others on their healing journeys; not only to get clear, but get to the heart of what could be rotting the very soil of the family tree.

As a Creative Transformational Expert specializing in trauma and relationships, Susan’s Art Mends Hearts approach uses drawings to help people get to the root of their subconscious minds and notice where they hold their upsets about themselves and family.
