Sometimes it's better that we don't get our prayers answered. Humility comes from not getting what you want. You can't solve an internal problem through external means - you just delay feeling what needs to be resolved.  By not getting what we want we get to focus on healing our internal disconnects. 

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Mike tells the story of how getting what he wanted made him a monster, and when he lost it humility and love kicked in. 
• Discussion of how we try to solve internal problems through external means, and how our accomplishments, achievements, and our accumulation becomes entangled with our identity.
