Bob Proctor Bio:
Bob Proctor born July 5, 1934 was a Canadian self-help author and lecturer. He was best known for his New York Times best-selling book You Were Born Rich (1984) and a contributor to the film The Secret (2006).
Proctor's material maintained the idea that a positive self-image is critical for obtaining success.
In 1961, Bob Proctor started studying “Think and Grow Rich” and it transformed his life. Bob listened to Earl Nightingale’s condensed recording of the book thousands of time. Then, Bob worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Earl Nightingale at Nightingale-Conant from 1968 to 1973, before leaving to start his own personal development company. Today, Bob has studied thousands of books, continued to read “Think and Grow Rich” every day, and is considered the world’s foremost expert on the human mind. Throughout his material, Bob Proctor aims to have the reader or audience tap into their "inner self".
He explains their inner-self is what is controlling all that is brought into their life - and that a bad self-image, or bad paradigm "programming", will lead to poor results even with training and proper education. Australian-based filmmaker Rhonda Byrne discovered Proctor's book and led her to requesting he be interviewed and participate in the 2006 movie The Secret. The personal development company they bob founded with sandy Gallagher, the proctor Gallagher institute, continues on as founder bob proctor graduates to the next phase of his eternal journey.
