Today, RÚV English finds out more about Icelandic national dress, at the Borgarnes Museum.

The West Iceland town of Borgarnes is home to a museum (https://safnahus.is/the-borgarnes-museum/) which currently houses a fascinating exhibition of various Icelandic national dress.

Kolbrún Björnsdóttir showed Darren around the exhibits, and explained the importance of dress and clothing to Iceland's national story.

The exhibition - free to enter - runs until September 10.
