Dr. Blais has a Ph. D. In physics that emphasized computational neuroscience and was the recipient of a three year NSF research grant to study computational neuroscience and the recipient of the Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network (BRIN) grant. He is an active member of many professional organizations including The Geochemical Society and The American Statistical Association. He teaches undergraduate physics at Bryant University and is a research professor at The Institute for Brain and Neural Systems at Brown University. Brian has written extensively on Bayesian Probability  and is currently writing a book about Bayesian Analysis that is geared toward readers with a less mathematical background but nevertheless have interest in understanding probability. He also listens to and regularly blogs concerning topics covered on Unbelievable?.
