This follows up from our previous episode on Barriers to Overcoming Betrayal Trauma. In summary, some barriers are:

• Continued evidence of the partner acting out
• Gaslighting (which is lying that changes a person’s perception)
• Partner’s inability or unwillingness to own their impact
• The partner’s inability or unwillingness to open up and be honest about his healing journey.
