This week: Time Scarcity Perspective

  • There always seems to never be enough time to do all the things you need to do and all the things you want to do. How do we create a sense of more time?
  • Evaluate your time and how you view it. Take an inventory of your day and how you spend your time.
  • How much time do you spend on regular activities? How can you use this knowledge to change the way you approach and view needing to do these activities?
  • How much time do you spend on social media? Your phone? Watching TV? Analyze how you spend your time and change what you spend time on to more important things.
  • What do you value most? How can you design your day around those things? How do you find the balance of “want to” and “have to.”
  • Create time for the important things! Schedule time with friends! Make dates with your spouse!
  • Change the way your talk about your to do list. “I will get so much done in 90 minutes” instead of “I only have 90 minutes to get this done.”
  • Remember that in just a few minutes, you really can get things done that matter. Meditate for 5 minutes. Tidy up for 10 minutes. You will be amazed at what you accomplish.
  • Shifting your thoughts to “I have plenty of time” will manifest more time.
