Your habits are the actions you take every day. Some are positive habits, and some are negative habits. Often, when people think about weight loss, they think about this really big goal to lose 20 pounds as an example. That’s what we call an outcome goal. It’s the kind of goal we literally have zero control over, because to achieve it we must take action. And as you may have suspected, we don’t have control of the weight coming off.
