Rebecca dives deeper into the biggest parenting mistakes, and how you can overcome them. We all make mistakes. It is human to do so. We will never be perfect. We can be empowered to overcome our mistakes- even in parenting!


Here is what to expect on this week’s show:

  • Self-care is NOT selfish.
  • Stop thinking that you need to entertain your children all the time.
  • Stop thinking that your children aren’t listening to you.
  • Stop TELLING and start SHOWING. Lead by example.
  • Stop parenting when you are in a reactive state.
  • Stop thinking that your kids always come first. You cannot take care of your kids if your own foundation is crumbling. Self, marriage, THEN kids.
  • Stop giving PRESENTS. Start giving PRESENCE. Time is more important than material goods.
  • Stop nagging and stop constantly talking about problems and negative things with your children. Balance your interactions with positive conversations.
  • Stop feeling guilty. Stop judging yourself. Treat yourself like you would a friend.
  • Stop doing EVERYTHING for your children.
  • Don’t take your kid’s behavior personally.
  • Focus on teaching lessons than on being punitive.
  • Don’t underestimate your children.
  • Parenting is NOT about YOU.
