Almost thirty years ago, she was given a two percent chance to be alive in ten years after a recurrence of breast cancer. To make matters worse, she went through a divorce and her career ended because she was too weak to work.

Her first book, A Gift of Mourning Glories: Restoring Your Life after Loss, answers the big question that you and many people often struggle with after a difficult loss: "I've survived, but now what?" It turns out the process of beginning anew is a skill you can learn, but few have been taught. Through her signature program, ReBUILD, she has watched Christian women who are separated and divorced beautifully begin anew. Each new ReBUILD group is a reminder that God has a purpose for us, no matter what dirt we're planted in.
