Hey friends, welcome back to the podcast. I know the title of this episode sounds a bit mysterious but let me just say it’s probably not what you think. We all went through some major things back in 2020, but for me, 2021 has been a pretty unexpected year. Between my knee injury at the beginning of the year, a family member’s terminal diagnosis then dealing with COVID at the end of the summer, I went through many things, both good and bad. 

 

My word of the year for 2021 was RESPOND. I wanted to focus on responding versus reacting. Like I’ve said before, God allows things to happen FOR us not happen TO us, and I believe He put certain things in my life that were meant to get my attention and that forced me to respond rather than react.

 

So in this episode, I share some big news, which was definitely unexpected, but God has been leading me towards this for some time now, and I’m finally in a place where I can finally listen.
