Dr. Alex Lindsey, Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science with The Ohio State University, has been studying the effects of different weather conditions on corn. With recent weather conditions, one major concern addresses is corn survival after flooded conditions.
Alex shares results from two years and multiple sites where nitrogen was applied to corn after it was flooded for different lengths of time and how it recovered. He also talks about studies simulating hail and lodging damage.
