March 23rd sees the launch of this year's Stockfish Film Festival at Reykjavík's iconic Bíó Paradís cinema. It is the film industry's festival in Iceland. It was founded in 2015, as a reincarnation of the Reykjavík Film Festival (Kvikmyndahátíð í Reykjavík), which was established in 1978.
The festival aims to create a platform in Reykjavík to encourage collaboration between domestic and international film communities, and gives an opportunity to see some of the most up-and-coming art-house films in the world. Also, with the support from the Icelandic Film Centre, a "Work in Progress" presentation will showcase works from the latest Icelandic film and TV productions.
Darren is joined by Artistic director HRÖNN KRISTINSDÓTTIR and Managing director CAROLINA SALAS for a look at all the festival will offer!
