Welcome to the 2020 J1 season!

 

Sean Carroll guested for a full review of Matchday 1, beginning with the four games from Sunday - including a chastening defeat for defending champions Yokohama, a Brazilian-powered come from behind win for runners-up FC Tokyo, and a draw between Kobe and Yokohama FC played out at the Noevir Stadium public library.

 

We then move on to Saturday's games, and wrap it all up with the curtain raiser between Shonan and Urawa from last Friday night.
