In this episode, we dive deep into one of the most transformative spiritual practices: doing the opposite of what your ego tells you to do. This teaching isn’t just about being contrarian—it’s about understanding that the opponent, the ego, is a force that contracts your consciousness and diminishes your vessel. And just like any force—like gravity—it can be resisted. Not with hatred or struggle, but with awareness, with repetition, and with action rooted in love and higher intention.
We begin with the recognition that modern life is full of subtle temptations to remain asleep: to complain instead of appreciate, to judge instead of love, to react instead of respond. These are not just behavioral habits, they are spiritual exercises handed over to the ego. But when we choose to do the opposite—to act with consciousness instead of compulsion—we begin the process of inner expansion.
Drawing from my past experience as a fitness trainer and coach, I offer a powerful metaphor that brings this lesson home. Just like physical strength is built through resisting gravity—through deadlifts, squats, and bench presses—spiritual strength is built by resisting the opponent. The force of the ego, like gravity, is not “bad.” It exists to serve your growth. When you lift against it, you get stronger. But when you surrender to it, you atrophy—physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically.
I share stories from my time volunteering with hospice patients to illustrate this even further. When the body is no longer resisting gravity, when movement ceases and the vessel weakens, we see what happens in the absence of resistance. The same happens in consciousness: when we stop working against the ego, our inner strength fades. We lose access to joy, love, gratitude, confidence, and generosity—not because these energies aren’t real, but because we no longer have the capacity to hold them.
Brothers, everything is energy. Everything is consciousness. Reality itself is a projection, a 3D hologram flowing from the fourth-dimensional source. You are not here to be a passive observer of that projection. You are here to master the game—by knowing the rules, studying your opponent, and practicing your strategy.
The Academy for Conscious Expansion exists for that very purpose. Just as a coach guides your physical form through training, I’ve built a space to guide your consciousness through transformation. And while this podcast offers the universal rules and teachings, the Academy offers the tools and mentorship to begin applying them directly in your life.
So if you’re ready to do more than understand—if you’re ready to practice—then your path is right here. Begin by doing the opposite of what your ego suggests. Step into the arena, lift the weight, and watch your vessel expand. This is how you elevate your alpha.
