Join Sheila, Sara and Kara A. as we discuss the details of providing pediatric physical therapy in the acute care setting. Kara currently works at the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and works full time in acute care where she loves to be in the pediatric ICU. She has a passion for neuromuscular diseases and serves on their multi-disciplinary DMD clinic and is also working on growing rehab involvement in their SMA program. She serves as adjunct faculty in the Belmont University Department of Physical Therapy pediatrics course where I teach labs and neuromuscular content.
