Since releasing my parenting book, “How to Raise Remarkable Kids Without Talking to Them,” I have received lots of emails with parenting questions. In today’s episode, I am answering two questions that consistently come up.
One listener shared that her relationship with her children was a parent/child relationship, while her spouse's relationship with their children was more of a friendship. It was hurting her feelings, always being the disciplinarian. Which way to parent is the best?
The second question deals with the difference between kind and nice. I often hear parents say they want their children to grow up nice. “No, you don’t, I often reply.” “You want them to be kind.” Learn the difference in today’s episode.
QUOTES BY DR. BRAY “With each child, the parent-child relationship is unique.” “We’re building friendships, and children who are confident and capable.”
