In this episode, we're taking a deep dive into workplace wellness culture. To explore the key components and players of a wellness culture, we spoke with two experts from OhioHealth Employer Solutions: Corporate Fitness & Wellness Manager, Lauren Quintana, and Wellness Consultant, Mariah Fredritz. Throughout this conversation, we discussed the impact culture can have on business and some practical action steps employers can take to build a positive wellness culture from the top down. 

In this episode, we're pulling back the curtain on workplace violence: A form of harassment that affects nearly 30% of all workers. To gain some insight on this topic, we spoke with, Dr. Genevieve Messick, Medical Director of Associate Health with OhioHealth Employer Solutions, and Matthew Akers, System Manager of Environment of Care, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness with OhioHealth. Over the years, research has shown that individuals who have an established relationship with their Primary Care Physician are better at adhering to appropriate screenings, take their medications more appropriately, and have better health outcomes overall.  To learn more about how and why employers should encourage employees to connect with a PCP, we spoke with two experts from OhioHealth, Dr. Glen Williams, Senior Medical Director of OhioHealth Employer Solutions, and Levi Fredritz, a Certified Nurse Practitioner with OhioHealth.  Together, we discussed how guiding and encouraging employees to establish a PCP relationship can provide additional value to employers through lower healthcare costs, fewer sick days, and improved morale; and shows employees they are cared for through appropriate and attainable benefit resources.
