She believes that we are taught to believe that physical issues require physical remedies, and that this is not the true nature of reality or the body. She is inspired to bring this awareness to the space of medicine and to help people to approach disease from a deeper perspective. She feels that while individuals are awakening and beginning to realize that there is a different way to do things, on an institutional level, new systems must be created to contain this level of awareness and consciousness. Kim, a former board-certified emergency doctor, left the traditional medical system due to her realization that the system couldn't support her mission. Her awakening happened at 16 and she has not practiced emergency medicine in the last 8 years.
