The current coronavirus disease pandemic offers educators an opportunity to provide students with real-time learning experiences evaluating the health literacy standards of current public health educational materials. In this podcast Dr. Karen Reed presents a recently developed lesson plan. In this strategy nursing students, familiar with the concepts of health literacy, divide into small groups and seek out and analyze public health educational informational materials related to health literacy. The course is interprofessional,joining nursing students and students in other health professions.
