Everyday Miracles

Former paranormal investigator Johnny Haney spent years searching for answers in the supernatural. After losing his mother, grief drove him to build what he called a portal in hopes of communicating with her. Then voices began answering. They seemed to know details about his life. One different voice confronted him about his past, and eventually pointed him toward Scripture and, Johnny says, Jesus Christ.

One night, his search took a terrifying turn. Johnny says he woke up conscious in complete darkness as a childlike voice screamed at him from every direction. He called on God, then Jesus - and says the paranormal activity that had followed him for years stopped completely.

In this episode of Everyday Miracles Podcast, Johnny shares his journey through paranormal investigation, spirit communication, grief, supernatural encounters, spiritual deception, faith, redemption, and Jesus.

His testimony raises a bigger question for all of us: when we are desperate for answers, healing, comfort, wisdom, or a word from God, where do we turn? Watch Johnny's full story and hear what happened after he opened the portal, what the voices told him, why he began questioning what he was communicating with, and how his search for answers ultimately changed his life.

John 14:16 "I am the way, and the truth, and the life." - Jesus

Other testimony related scriptures: 1 John 4:1, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Leviticus 20:6 "I will set my face against that person." God speaking of mediums and necromancers. Isaiah 55:7 invites someone to the Lord, "for He will abundantly pardon." There is truly forgiveness for everyone. Romans 10:13 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Have you ever wondered if God really hears your prayers—especially the ones that seem to go unanswered?

In this special episode of Everyday Miracles, we explore the mystery and power of prayer through remarkable testimonies, biblical truth, and powerful reminders of what may be happening even when we cannot see it. You will hear some of my favorite clips about prayer from over 7 years of testimonies. I trust you will be inspired.

From prayers answered in unexpected ways to prayers carried through seasons of waiting, grief, and uncertainty, these stories point us back to one beautiful truth: God hears you.

If you've ever felt discouraged in prayer, wondered whether your prayers matter, or struggled when God's answer looked different than you hoped, this episode is for you.

Be encouraged to keep praying, keep trusting, and remember—you may not always see what God is doing, but your prayers are never insignificant.

"Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard..." Daniel 10:12

Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."

Lauren Burns shares her kidnapping (age 7) by her Jordanian Muslim father, the miraculous rescue that brought her home after three months, including her mother's fasting and prayer and the intervention of ex-military veterans who located Lauren when JD Roberts, while praying, and the miracles that followed.

Lauren shares how the aftermath included PTSD, changing her name, moving 14 times, and staying hidden for years, and how writing her book, STOLEN, and launching the Redeemed Podcast have been both costly and healing as God has called her to speak publicly. All of this while being mom and wife and a full time physical therapist is miraculous in itself! She explains forgiveness as surrendering bitterness to Jesus-not forgetting or excusing wrong doing and describes redemption through community, restored relationships, and family.

What if someone's inability to speak has caused the world to underestimate everything happening inside them?

I'm joined by attorney, pastor, and Decoding Cody author Joe Infranco to share what changed when Cody, a young man with non-speaking autism, began communicating through spelling. What started as a breakthrough in understanding communication soon raised much bigger questions about autism, consciousness, science, and the spiritual world.

Joe shared the evidence that challenged his skepticism, the research surrounding spelling and AAC, and extraordinary accounts involving Jesus, angels, prayer, and a mysterious place known as "The Hill." Throughout it all, he returns to one standard: extraordinary claims should be examined carefully, and with discernment.

-- Scripture ✝️:

John 20:29 (NIV) "Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'"

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"

Luke 10:21 (ESV) "In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, 'I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.'"

Fear can be incredibly convincing.

Sometimes it sounds like wisdom. Sometimes it looks like waiting for clarity, waiting for the right time, or asking God for just one more confirmation.

In this lighter solo episode, I look back at a time when I knew what God was asking me to do... and still I wanted to back out. Then, at a prayer meeting, I suddenly found myself in a very awkward position...
