There always used to be a sort of joke about how when we're asleep it is the only time we're not conforming to patriarchal beauty standards, when we’re free from being advertised to and commodified, only now the billion-dollar beauty and wellness industry has managed to infiltrate that, too.

Women of the internet are sharing their 'morning shed' where they remove various layers of skin-care products and anti-ageing aids. We discuss what we make of this new trend, and hear from you at home, too!
