This week on Rooted Deeply, the Podcast we are talking about how honored expectations are the foundation of trust.
As parents, we carry a heavy weight when it comes to setting expectations for our children. But what if those expectations aren’t just rules for behavior—but invitations into trust, safety, and connection?
In this episode, I’m sharing why unmet expectations can wound the heart, and how keeping our word builds a foundation that points our children back to Yah. We talk about the difference between empty threats and intentional boundaries, and how consistency in parenting reflects the character of our Father—who never breaks His promises.
We’ll explore how the story of the Garden shows us the consequence of broken trust, why our kids need safe limits, and how love and structure go hand in hand.
Through Scripture and real-life parenting moments, we’ll dig into how to set clear expectations, follow through with grace, and prepare our children to trust Yah’s voice as they grow.
