Black women are under attack—from eyelashes in Congress, to venture funds for Black businesses.  This week’s episode is a recording of Native Land Pod’s first LIVE audience show! Hosts Angela Rye, Tiffany Cross, and Andrew Gillum paid a visit to the women’s global leadership summit, ExcelerateHER, in Miami for a town hall takeover!

This episode is all about strategy, action, and solidarity y’all!

TRIGGER WARNING: What Deserves a Platform? | MiniPod

And Gov Hochul isn’t the only politician garnering some controversy over racially-charged remarks. We got a reminder last week that some members of Congress are just straight up racist. And so we ask, are there white supremacists in Congress? Spoiler alert: yes, and the hosts will name a few. 
 
In Politics Are Everywhere we examine violence and the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Given the drive-by shooting outside Drake’s house, the hosts ask: at what point does beef in hip hop culture go too far?
