Scripture: Luke 24:13-53, In this final lesson in Luke, we review what happened on the Road to Emmaus, then cover Jesus' appearance again to the disciples in the Upper Room and the ascension of Jesus into heaven. Scripture: Titus 1:10-3:15, Paul closes his letter to Titus reminding him that we are saved not because of our works, but according to the righteousness of Christ Jesus. Older men of faith are to exhibit a dignified and loving nature. Older women of faith are train young women by example. We are to devote ourselves for every good work as it is excellent and profitable for all people.

Scripture: Luke 23:44-24:35, Jesus on the cross looks the opposite of holy. The theme of a great reversal is demonstrated where the mighty does great things for the weak and humble. Jesus provides a way through death by opening His arms. Jesus serves humanity, yet He is the greatest of all. The three men hanging on the cross are a representation of the world. Jesus being the Savior of the world, one thief represents all believers and the other thief represents all unbelievers. Jesus was forsaken by God on account of all sinners.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:9-22, The study of 2 Timothy concludes today with this short lesson. Paul sends personal greetings, warnings and final instructions.

As we begin Titus, Paul continues to instruct his teachers. "Eternal life promised before the ages began and at the proper time manifested in His word, was made known through His preaching." The qualifications for Elders, Pastors and Families are clearly set before us. Again, do not be deceived by the defiled. To those who heed pure doctrine, the simple purity of that truth brings the hope of our salvation.

Paul Admonishes Timothy that:There are those who oppose the truth, and those with itching ears who will find that type of teacher to suit their needs. There will be persecution for the person trying to live a Godly life, just as there was persecution for Paul. Take heart, remembering that all scripture is breathed by God and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training. Scripture will expose the false teacher. Christ be praised.
