Auto engineer and inventor John DeLorean built an enormously successful career at GM in the ‘60s and ‘70s, creating the blueprint for the iconic American muscle car. But he’s mostly known for his eponymous car and motor company, which failed when he became entangled in a cocaine trafficking scheme.
