FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast

We're throwing caution to the wind and getting crazy! Our trio shares their top fantasy hot takes heading into the season and predicts the chances of those coming to fruition. Will Gardner Minshew (10:46) play well enough for the Jags to commit to him as their franchise signal-caller, what are the odds that Justin Jackson (23:22) out-touches Austin Ekeler, and is Aaron Rodgers (35:34) ready to bounce back and produce top-three QB numbers? The show concludes with us discussing our favorite underdog MVP picks (50:47) and our sleeper fantasy rookie of the year candidates (52:12).

We are joined by our friend, Jared Smola of DraftSharks, and spend the hour sharing insight on our most overvalued and undervalued players at each position. The show starts off with the trio diving into the impact of Ezekiel Elliott's (1:05) COVID-19 diagnosis. Will Raheem Mostert (5:04) struggle to repeat his solid production down the stretch last year, is Kenny Golladay (21:07) primed to regress, and does David Johnson (38:57) still have gas left in the tank?

The back half of the show features a spelling competition involving some of the NFL's most tricky names (26:39)! On today's show, our trio gives you the lowdown on which five players they each expect to bounce back after a disappointing 2019 campaign. Will A.J. Green (8:15) return to being a pillar of consistency or will a significantly lower target share impair his value? Can David Montgomery (21:53) and the Bears' offense only go up after hitting rock-bottom last year, is Jordan Howard (40:46) primed to deliver a safe floor week-to-week, and was a low touchdown rate the only thing that prevented Aaron Rodgers (49:15) from being a top-five QB last season?

Our good friend Joe Pisapia, author of the Fantasy Black Book series, is back as we break down our favorite breakout candidates for 2020. How high can fantasy owners still feel comfortable grabbing Kenyan Drake (5:09) and what are the risks that come with selecting Raheem Mostert (24:43)? Also, why does Calvin Ridley (32:02) have the potential to be a WR1 in fantasy and what sets Joe Burrow (1:02:05) apart from the average rookie QB?

We're back to give you our top 10 early fades heading into the 2020 season. Cleveland's run-heavy offense may cap Austin Hooper's (5:06) target load and Emmanuel Sanders (20:36) might lack the boom upside that fantasy owners may be seeking from him. Plus, playing in an offense that is set to regress isn't the only issue facing Austin Ekeler (40:26) and Cooper Kupp (58:11) could be a casualty of the Rams' scheme.

The band is back together with the return of Kyle Yates! Together, our trio dives headfirst into a dynasty mock draft, giving you the skinny on who they're picking and why at every step of the way. Can fantasy owners feel comfortable with D.J. Chark (12:57) as their WR1, does Tarik Cohen (25:14) offer a solid floor no matter who the QB is in Chicago, and are dynasty drafters sleeping on Tua Tagovailoa (40:02)? We are joined today by the hilarious Jason Moore of The Fantasy Footballers to examine which wide receivers the industry is too high or low on. Does Marquise Brown (9:16) have league-winning upside and is Michael Gallup (23:08) actually above CeeDee Lamb in Dallas' pecking order? Plus, will Allen Robinson (38:37) fall short of expectations and is it wise to doubt Odell Beckham (48:49) heading into 2020?

Today we're joined by Justin Boone of theScore to analyze which tailbacks are too low or high on the latest expert consensus rankings. Is Jonathan Taylor (7:24) a better bet for fantasy production than Austin Ekeler (3:06) this year, are people exaggerating Zack Moss' impact on Devin Singletary's (18:00) production, and will Derrick Henry (42:14) maintain last year's second-half surge heading into 2020?
