When Father Boyle was serving as a priest in East LA, he buried an alarming number of young people involved in gangs. He decided that something must be done and started Homeboy Industries. Homeboy Industries provides hope, training and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of the community.
