9 years ago, I know I needed help. I had been trying to get pregnant for almost a year and was totally and completely obsessed with TTC. I vividly remember sitting at my desk at my old accounting job and googling "how to stop worrying" while simultaneously also googling, "first pregnancy symptoms". It consumed my everything. I knew something needed to change because life wasn't fun anymore and my worries about the future of my family were at an all-time high. So I found a Life Coach of my own. And literally, the rest is history. Asking for mental and emotionally support along the journey to my baby was the best decision I EVER made and was my catalyst to revealing the very best version of who I could be in this lifetime. The problem is that many people DON'T learn the mindset tools. They don't ask for help. They just suffer. OR… They wait for things to get SUPER BAD before asking for help. Cause coaching or therapy isn't yet normalized in most social circles and very often people believe that if they ask for help, then "something must be wrong with me." But in this week's podcast, we're gonna break down the stigma against what it REALLY means to ask for emotional and mental support and why LITERALLY EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD THAT BREATHES NEEDS IT. Instead of just going through the motions on your fertility journey and hoping that the positive pregnancy test will be the thing that finally lights you up – learn how to light yourself up in this week's new podcast. Listen now!
Being categorized as a controlling person is not a title that one strives for. And when you're TTC, you might think it's the reason why you're struggling so much. Many of my clients describe themselves as planners and perfectionists who thrive off of being very productive, getting shit done and doing things the "right" way. And honestly, these qualities can be beneficial in life and can help you to create what you want. But what happens, when things don't come as easily – like making this baby - no matter how hard you try, how hard you try to "perfect" things and how hard you try to control the situation? I'll speak for myself and the hundreds of clients that I've worked with… it's incredibly frustrating. Initially, you might even try to control more. More diet restrictions. More sacrifice. More force. At least this is what I did…Which is a normal and natural tendency when you're TTC. But what if I told you there IS a way to have a HEALTHY sense of CONTROL over the journey? Sounds liberating. Sounds exciting. Sounds fucking amazing, right? Wanting control isn't a bad thing. It's just learning where you have it and how to use it. This is exactly what we're going to talk about in this week's brand new podcast. We're chatting all about: How to gain a healthy sense of control over your fertility journey. Listen now!
There is one crazy sneaky limiting belief that plays a HUGE role in the TTC journey. I discovered that I was letting this thought run my journey for years. It was making every little thing feel forced, my body felt tight and it made my mind race with thoughts. I let the belief go, just a few months before getting pregnant. And as I saw how disbelieving this thought changed the entire course of my journey. I knew I had to document it and share how and why it was working. Which is why I created my group coaching program. So in today's podcast, you're gonna learn what the limited belief is and I'm gonna share with you how letting that limiting belief go will change everything for you. In fertility and in LIFE. It's probably gonna shock you. Because the thought is going to feel true for you. But you're gonna have to ask yourself – even though it feels true… "How is this thought serving my dream of having a happy, healthy baby?" So yes, I'm gonna be super annoying and tell that you that you're gonna have to listen to this weeks podcast to learn the belief. Enjoy this one. This episode can change everything for you. Listen with an open heart.
I get it. You've spent years, trying your absolute best to create this baby. You've taken risks and invested big. Showed up to all those appointments. Brave enough to go through those procedures. Nursed yourself back to life after getting unfavorable results back. And been strong as hell to carry on. But let's be real right now and admit…You're EXHAUSTED! And you know what? UNDERSTANDABLY. You've worked soo hard and held the weight of this journey all on your own. I know that your partner is supportive, but both of you can admit that the responsibility falls mostly on you. It's frustrating. Because according to your research (and what family and friends say you "should" do) you've done the most logical thing. You've invested into the physical mechanics of this journey. So why hasn't it happened yet? Well… this weeks podcast is going to reveal it to you.I know you've relied on hard work and effort to get you to where you want to go in life and I get that it's irritating as fuck to not be successful in applying that same kind of effort towards making a baby. But I learned on the journey that creating a baby takes a DIFFERENT kind of energy. Click right here to start listening now!
This is a very special episode of the Fertile Ground podcast. I don't do guests – but Cammie's an exception. She signed up for coaching with me 2.5 years ago. At that point, she had had 4 miscarriages and was also grieving the loss of her mother. After signing up, she said, "I need support and I resonate with your message, but I don't want to talk fertility." I was in. Soon after… the magic started to unfold. Although she was grieving, Cammie was vulnerable, open and ready to see her life in a new light. It took exactly one session for her life to start changing. In the podcast, you'll learn the limiting beliefs we shifted and how we shifted them, so that she could open her heart up to creating her life (and her baby) another way. One that didn't involve celery and sacrifice. But trust and acceptance. This weeks podcast is about: How Cammie turned her fertility journey of loss into a story of magic. Listen now!
How many times have you tried to change things up while on your fertility journey? You tried to change your diet. From real bread to gluten-free. You tried to change your stress levels. From wine o'clock to a quick 5-minute meditation. You tried to change your mind. From "I can't do this." to "I can do this." All in the hopes that these well-intentioned changes will stick and move the needle towards finally getting pregnant. But maybe a week (or two) later, you find yourself back to your old gluten-full-wine-please-I-can't-do-this pattern. What the actual fuck, right? Not only are you pissed that the changes didn't stick, but the next time you get your period, you blame yourself that you didn't do enough. I was on this ride for years. Hopes high. Changes made. Motivation and belief dwindles. Period comes… Shame. I got off of the cycle and finally got pregnant, by learning how to create real, sustainable, tangible change. So this week's podcast is about, how to create change. Do you even think it's possible for you? Why does it feel so gosh darn difficult? And what it's gonna take/what changes do you have to make to finally move the needle? It's wild, but as much as you consciously want to change your life to create your baby, research shows that you may be subconsciously resisting it. Learn why and listen to this week's 20 min. podcast now.

What I resented most about TTC for so long, was how alone I felt, and how hardly anyone knew how to support me through it. Your monkey mind might tell you that it's just easier NOT to talk about it and you might even subconsciously isolate yourself, because you believe you're safer this way. But the last thing isolation is on the journey, is safe and easy. And although you're attempts are to feel better, research shows it creates a mind-body disconnect. (More about the latest research in the podcast.) Of course, time to yourself is healthy. But social connection, finding people who understand your struggles and realizing you're not an alien on the TTC journey is incredibly relieving and very healthy for your soul. So in this weeks podcast, we're gonna chat about the importance of community when you're TTC. You're gonna learn: How to overcome the monkey mind objections that you tell you that you're "different" and that you don't need a community (Yes, I know you have them. Cause I did too.). Why a TTC community is NOT a pity party, but empowering. How to find one. I know that part of the reason why you want your baby, is so that you can finally feel like you belong. But I promise you that you can fulfill this yearning now. Stop waiting. Start living and feel the relief of connection. Listen now!
As a woman, it's normal to take on this responsibility of figuring out this fertility mystery all on your own. Most women take it allllll on. Because their mind doesn't even show them that there's another option. Your monkey mind says, "You're a woman. This is what YOU do. This is YOUR role. Suck it up and figure it out." So you try your best to think the right thoughts, cook the right food, book the right appointments and do the right workouts – all because you feel solely responsible to your partner, your family, your friends and to yourself - to make this baby happen. Exhausted yet? I know I sure was with this belief. This belief left my mind and body totally depleted, which is the exact opposite of what I wanted to create. Whenever I feel that woman-responsibility-pressure-feeling building – I know I have ONE solution waiting for me to gain the courage to do…So in these weeks podcast, you're gonna learn: How to let go of the guilt and the shame in asking for help. Cause girl, we need support. All of us do. Not just you. There is no reward at the end of this life for the most exhausted and depleted woman. There's an easier way. But of course, there's a lot of resistance we have to asking for help. And I want to bust all that bull shit today. Take a listen to let this go.
