Today I have a special guest - Theresa Feola. We will be talking about pelvic dysfunction in both men and women and available therapies. Theresa is a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic health.  Today is part 2 of the interview, episode 31 is part 1. Today we are talking about  sex and intimacy and how history of trauma can affect pelvic pain and intimacy.

Theresa earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from The University of Pittsburgh. As a physical therapist, she has over 35 years of clinical practice experience working in inpatient acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient orthopedics.  She has served in clinical management roles throughout her career, but her clinical focus has been on the education and treatment of women’s and men’s pelvic health. She presents regionally to community groups and regional healthcare providers on women’s health topics.  Theresa earned Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification from Herman and Wallace Rehabilitation Institute in 2015, and she is a board- certified Women’s Certified Specialist.

She is the owner of The Pelvic Room in Exton Pennsylvania - https://www.pelvicroom.com/
She is also the co-founder of The Perinatal Partners Network, an organization focused on providing integrative resources and care during the perinatal period. https://www.perinatalpartnersnetwork.com/
