When the match making is done right boxing aint half bloody good!

What a brilliant night of action at the SSE Arena as David Avanesyan took the plaudits in the main event beating Josh Kelly.  He wasn't the only star of the show as we discuss at great length on todays show.

Performance of the weekend and maybe the whole year has to be Oscar Valdez as he becomes the WBC Super featherweight champion.

If there was any doubt before there isn't any more.

The 'Nigerian Nightmare' Kamaru Usman, is the best welterweight of this generation, wiping out the whole division in 13 fights.  The only question is what does he do next?  we discuss the possibilities as well as review the highlights of UFC258.

Boxing returned to British soil at the weekend and leaves us with plenty to talk about. Positive performances from Mauricio Lara and Kiko Martinez overshadowed by terrible judging and questionable refereeing.

Over in the states Richard Commey showed there's more to the lightweight division than Lopez, Haney, Garcia and Davis.

We also look ahead to Avanesyan vs Kelly this weekend as well as the Mexican war of Berchelt and Valdez.

There's no room in MMA for fairytales. Hollywood story lines don't always play out.  If anyone deserved one, it's Frankie Edgar, but sadly it wasn't to be.

Cory Sandhagen took care of the legend in emphatic style and cements his own name as the next in line for the bantamweight title winner.

It was a similar story for Alastair Overeem as 'The Demolition Man' was demolished at the hands of Alex Volkov.

We review all the weekends action and look ahead to an intriguing title fight at UFC258 between two gym mates.

Avni Yildrim has not got a cat in hell's chance of beating the best boxer on the planet and it is insulting Canelo's talent that Boxing insists this fight happens.

We discuss this horrific mismatch as well as the decision Josh Warrington made to bin his IBF belt.
