On an episode where we discuss a chunk of Bethesda's catalogue being added to Xbox Gamepass and Sony giving away 10 games for free, the most "pro-consumer" thing still manages to be... Adam Knox, who reviews his new Xbox wireless headphones. The boys also chat about early access game Teardown and Tommy and Ben dig into Yakuza: Like A Dragon!

A seemingly small model which reveals itself to have a surprising depth and enormity after you have come to terms with the fact that you have ended up inside it. That's right, it's Ben Vernel, and he's here with Tommy Dassalo and Adam Knox to review Maquette and Blind Drive, as well as discuss the news of the week such as even more Switch Pro rumours and burned down Rust servers. One of us likes Maquette, one of us doesn’t, and the other is in the middle. If you can correctly guess which one is which before listening to the episode, you become an Official Filthy Casuals Expert. Congratulations.

You might be expecting me to write here a thing about some high schoolers being stuck in a deadly game where only one of them can survive, and I go on about it for a bit making it seem like I'm talking about World's End Club, but at the end it turns around and is actually an absurd description of the recording process of this podcast. Is that what you were expecting? Well too bad, buddy. Sure, we talk about World's End Club this week, as well as the Sony and Pokemon presentations. But ALSO, Ben's played the demo of the System Shock remaster, so what if I wanted to make the description a thing about that? Well I don't. I want to do the World's End Club one. But, out of space now. Maybe when the Switch version comes out?

You try to run me through
Hold on
Think again
Don't you know
What you're starting
But ... you sure ain't got a clue
How bad
This will go
Don't you know
Know my art
(Art of war)
And as you look to the horizon
Not a cloud
But then stormy weather's caught you cold
Seems like it crept up out of nowhere
All around
You it's not quite what you foretold
You'll never see it coming
You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes
You're done in
By the time it's hit you, your last surprise
You think you got your game
Planned out
To a T
Yet I'm two
Steps ahead yeah
So ... you step into my way
Stand down
It's a trap
One more step
And you're dead
(Yeah you're dead)
Why just a picosecond ago
Clear blue skies
But now lightning's struck your last resolve
It's not an accident that no one
Hears your cries
As your last strength seems to dissolve
You'll never see it coming
You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes
You're done in
By the time it's hit you, your last surprise
I'm coming
For you
My game's always so fast, so fine
You're spun in
By the net you didn't catch it in time
Better think
About your game
Are you sure
Your next move's the right one for you?
Are you sure
You won't get outmaneuvered again
And again my friend?
You'll never see it coming
You'll see that my mind is too fast for eyes
You're done in
By the time it's hit you, your last surprise
Also some news!

Splatoon. Anime girls. Breath of the Wild. Three of Tommy’s most used Pornhub search terms, and coincidentally three things that were sort of featured in the latest Nintendo Direct. The Filthy Casuals dissect that and review Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Little Nightmares 1 and 2.

There's a bunch of news and a bunch of questions for us to get through this week, and quite frankly I think that's great.

I just did a ouija board and the ghost told me that you'd better listen to Filthy Casuals with Tommy Dassalo, Ben Vernel and Adam Knox this week. I know, it's so spooky! The ghost said that, um, they talk about The Medium and Destruction All-Stars, and um, that they also talk about, um, whatever game you would like to hear and that it's the best podcast for that particular topic. No, the ghost said it, not me. Also they talk about the GameStop news because that's sort of like video game news and some other news and um they tell you um yeah like how to deal with that problem you've been having lately. No it's true, again, the ghost told me this. Why are you calling me a con-artist? I talk to ghosts. How are those things possibly related?

A bald man who will wear all sorts of bizarre clothing, a man able to slip by unnoticed and disappear into the night, a man who is fully capable of murder. That's right, it's Tommy, Ben and Adam and they're here to review the third game in the World of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3. We also talk about the recently dug-up anti "Stop 'n' Swop" letter from Nintendo to Rare, the recently released Maiden demo for Resident Evil VIII on PS5, and review some Japanese Mario candy that reviews suggest tastes like soap, plus more!. Welcome to the World of Assassination (this podcast).

This week the boys review a few games they've missed over the last little bit, including Sackboy's Big Adventure, Call of the Sea, Yes, Your Grace and more. Also, Adam has bitten the bullet and bought the box, baiting the boys into berating his belligerent bashing of his bills and bitcoins banana bed bath beyond. Please enjoy this episode of Filthy Casuals with Tommy Dassalo, Ben Vernel and Adam Knox, I implore you.

Sharks, shreds and shmonsterhunter this week with Tommy, Ben and Adam on Filthy Casuals. Plus we talk news on a new Indiana Jones game, a new trailer of Bowser's Fury from the Super Mario 3D Land rerelease, and a bunch of other stuff as well. Probably. To be honest we recorded yesterday and I don't actually remember what we talked about. Like, broadly I know we talked about video games. And the three games mentioned in the title there. But if you're after specifics then quite frankly this description isn't going to be the place to get that information. My advice? Have a listen to the podcast. In there you'll find details on what is on the podcast this week. Happy to have helped!
