We have Arizona State Sun Devils football today, folks! We don't know about you, but it wasn't exactly clear whether or not we would be excited for another Saturday of Arizona State Sun Devils football the way the season started off the first five weeks. But that changed when the Sun Devils took down the then-ranked #21 Washington Huskies. Now coming off a bye week, this feels like a new Arizona State Sun Devils football program. Fresh slate now. 0-0. Starting things off is a trip to Palo Alto, California to take on the Stanford Cardinal football program led by quarterback Tanner McKee and head coach David Shaw. The Cardinal are also just 2-4 on the season, but they're playing with the determination to show that they should be a .500 football team and not one with a losing record thanks to a miracle play vs. the Oregon State Beavers. Jobs are on the line in Stanford, so this game won't be a gimme. But the Sun Devils are also playing with a lot on their heart. The boys are out to prove everyone wrong; that Arizona State isn't a lost cause and that there is still good football left to be had by this team.
