A parenting podcast for all the ages

I have been listening to Find the Magic for a long time now and appreciate thaty they provide info that spans from mom of newborns to parents of teens. They have kids in all stages (similar to me) and also connect to women in general (they don’t only talk about things related to being a mom). They share parenting tips and info on many great books,but also lots of information about mediation, miracle mornings and taking time for ourselves amidst the chaos of parenthood. I can’t recommend this podcast enough!

Potty training can be a seemingly daunting task that many of us dread––whether because we’ve heard some nightmarish stories or maybe we’ve had some negative experiences ourselves. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Parenting is one of the most transformative spiritual practices that we know of. AS A FIRST TIME MAMA I AM LOVING THIS PODCAST. FOR FUTURE SEASONS I WILL BE GOING THROUGH AS WELL AS THE ONE I AM IN, THEY HAVE SUCH GOOD SUGGESTIONS AND PERSPECTIVES ON PARENTING. I LOVE THIS PODCAST SO MUCH AND I’M ONLY IN THE FIRST TEN EPISODES. I CANNOT WAIT TO CONTINUE LISTENING!

This is a live recording of Taralyn actually walking you (and her yoga students during a class) through the fear release guided meditation that she has been using regularly herself for years. The first 6 minutes are the subconscious deep guided work, and then there is about 9 minutes of relaxation for you to enjoy before she walks you up out of the deep release. If you'd like to skip the center relaxation part, you can finish the guided meditation, and then skip to 14:30 so you be sure to be counted up out of the deep subconscious state. 

So go ahead, find a quiet place for you to lay or sit down, and enjoy. You can use this guided meditation over and over with different fears.

Fear is a powerful emotion. All of us face it at some point of another, and often, it really puts a damper on the way we live our lives. It can interfere with us loving wholeheartedly and doing things that inspire (and scare) us. In this episode, Taralyn dives deep into the concept of facing and processing our fears so they don’t hold us back in life. She addresses 3 different kinds of fear, and walks you through steps to free yourself from the fears that don’t serve you.

They give concrete tips and ideas for a more wholehearted life and do it without making you feel guilty or like you need to change. Their views on parenting speak right to my heart and I am so grateful for the work they put into their thoughts every week. They’re changing my family one episode at a time.

Having children has such a beautiful gift in it in regards to our own spirituality. Parenting can be so full of love, can challenge our ego, and can create a beautiful surrender in our own soul as we embrace the delicious journey of this life. Sometimes, it feels like it's the cool kid thing to do to complain about parenthood all the time. On the other hand, it can be easy to portray our children as heavenly cherubs who do no wrong and parentland as being full of only bliss.  It's a tricky balance to find between being honest about the fact that parenting isn’t unicorns and roses  all the time, but also realizing that it is also a great  honor and really meaningful work to engage in.

In this episode, we talk about that balance and wrestle with how to be authentic to ourselves, recognizing and asking for help when it’s hard, and soaking in the moments of love and enjoyment when they come. We hope you leave it feeling like you aren’t alone in your struggles and in your joys. Parenting is full of both.
