Have you tried ads, funnels, lead magnets etc and you're still not able to attract your ideal client?
Maybe you're attracting clients who aren't willing to invest, or, no clients at all, does that sound like you?
Filled with simple steps that can be implemented straight away, this episode will give you results on social media FAST.
How do I find my audience on social media?
Use a mixture of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Pick minimum 2 platforms, and maximum 3 platforms.
Utilise Facebook groups to connect with your ideal client, but don’t sell in the Facebook group or through DMs as you might annoy the group founder!
Post questions and valuable content in the group 3-4 times a week, and engage with other people in the group 4-5 times a week to position yourself as an expert.
How do I utilise DMs?
DMs are SO powerful! Don’t DM people in a copy and paste or spammy way.
For LinkedIn, personalise the default connect message so that people will be more likely to want to connect with you.
DM 10-20 people with personalised messages every day.
Social media is SOCIAL media; not CONTENT media. It’s all about connection! Make sure you connect with the person on whichever platform before sliding into their DMs.
It’s definitely not stalker-ish to follow and message your ideal client on social media, just don’t sell to them straight away!
Should I use DMs for market research?
Yes, but offer something valuable in exchange. If you don’t know what to offer, reach out to me!
What should I do if somebody doesn’t respond to a DM?
Most people will, especially if you complement them! But give it a few days before chasing up as people are extremely busy.
Should I use paid advertising?
Don’t invest in paid advertising unless you’ve spoken to an expert, and definitely don’t boost a post!
You’ll waste a lot of money making mistakes if you don’t fully understand how social media paid advertising works, so outsource it when you can afford it and if it’s relevant to your business.
What should I be posting?
Video shortcuts your ideal client through the like, know and trust journey a hell of a lot faster than static images.
People also want to know the owner of a small business and whose pockets they’re filling.
Post at least 2 videos a week on your feed, and at least 1 video on your story every day.
Do I need a website?
Don’t invest in a website until you’re completely clear about who you are as a business, such as your mission, vision, values and purpose, as you may need to totally overhaul the website at a later date, which could cost you a lot of money!
Start with an impactful social media presence and a landing page if necessary.
Why has my engagement dropped?
Engage with people as much as you can and allocate 30-60 minutes during the day to like and comment on people’s posts.
Ensure you comment more than 4 words because the algorithm will penalise you if your comments are too short.
The algorithm rewards you for hard work and effort, there are no shortcuts I’m afraid, including posting meaningless comments!
How do I attract my ideal client and not attract my non-ideal client?
You need to be crystal clear about who your ideal client is and what your business vision, mission and purpose are, to ensure that your messaging is aligned and that there isn’t any confusion.
This will ensure that the people who engage with you are more likely to be "ideal clients" than "non-ideal clients" as they'll be aligned with your messaging, and will be more likely to value your offering and eventually invest.
