  • 10. What BS stories are you telling yourself to stay stuck where you are?

    Send us Fan Mail

Are you feeling stuck in the cycle of telling yourself a BS story that is keeping you stuck somewhere in your life? In this episode we talk about how changing our thoughts can help us change our conditions.

    The formula:

    1. Condition: The thing that's true
    2. Thought: The story you're telling yourself about the condition
    3. New thought: reframing your thoughts to better serve you
    4. New condition: new thoughts lead to new circumstances

There is messaging everywhere that tells us marriage is supposed to be easy. This message is a flat out lie. Marriage requires a lot of work, patience, forgiveness, and more ALL. THE. TIME. You can be in a beautiful, fulfilling, supportive relationship and it can still be hard. That's OK, you are NOT alone.

This episode was inspired by Kc Davis on TikTok. Give her a follow if you're on TikTok or click here for more content from her! She says: "Your job is not to be the best mom that she can be, your job is to be the best mom that YOU can be!" What a mindset shift!

Listen in to hear my thoughts on this perspective among other topics around comparison, decision making and mom guilt.

  • 5. Are you OK? Or are you missing the warning signs of something bigger?

    Send us Fan Mail

Hey hey! It's good to be back!

On this episode I dive into my symptoms of depression. Since depression is new(ish) to me, I missed some warning signs. Of course, the pandemic, the political climate, etc. led me to believe that everyone was cranky, miserable, lethargic, etc. all the time.

I had good intentions to practice self care and gratitude to help improve my mood. But lets face it. If it feels like an all day chore to take a simple shower, how likely are you to do anything extra? Depression is serious and, I think, more prevalent than we realize. Here is a link to the mayo clinic to learn more about the signs and symptoms.

While we are all collectively experiencing a general sense of apathy, if you're finding normal day to day tasks to be unimaginable hurdles, you should know that life was simply not meant to be lived like this. You deserve better. I encourage you to seek help.

  • 4. Letting go of perfectionism and giving yourself grace

    Send us Fan Mail

You are enough. You matter. You are more than your pant size or your weight. You are important.

Join Megan for a walk in this jam packed episode. It's our first walk together!! This week Megan got out of her own way, let go of the "I don't have time" excuse and recorded this episode while also going for a walk. This episode is far from perfect, but it sure was fun to record! If you love this style, please let me know!

We dive into body image. In a society where we, women especially, are rewarded for being "small", I'm here to tell you that it's 100% OK if you've gained the dreaded Quarantine 15...Dare I say, if you're one of the lucky ones?

Megan shares the struggle of finding the balance between giving yourself grace and allowing things to just be without letting yourself spiral into just accepting your excuses.

  • 3. The importance of community

    Send us Fan Mail

Does your community support, inspire and empower you to achieve your goals? If not, it might be time to level up.

In this week's episode, Megan challenges you to take a look at your community. Your friends and family, co-workers, and yes - even your social media. Are these relationships serving you? Or are you just in them because you're expected to be or because you're in close proximity? You might find yourself surrounded by well-meaning people who love you. That doesn't mean you should look for ways to level up your surroundings.

  • 2. The Importance of Setting Goals

    Send us Fan Mail

This week we chat about the moment I realized I was a goal oriented person. As a stay at home mom of 3, I didn’t realize why I felt so lost and uncomfortable until that moment...and then it all made sense. Now that I realize the importance of both life and career goals for myself, I’ve implemented two tools to help me identify these big ass goals and chase after them. I’m linking the tools I use below:
