WOW! We have made it to Season 4! In the last 3 seasons we have shared our story, and the stories of so many others impacted by adoption. No we are not finished yet, and YES we are going to continue to invite you on our journey while inviting guests to the Firepit. However, we have decided to make a slight change in our podcast, to do Something A Little Different. 2025 has started off in a way that many of us did not think that it would. From a new commander in chief, to crazy weather throughout the US, we have definitely experienced a roller coaster of emotions in such a short time. We want to share our perspective of what we all are witnessing and being exposed to in real time. We still want you to bring whatever you want to bring to the Firepit, but now we want you to bring your reaction to our reactions. So buckle up, and.......... well you know the rest.

This season, we have focused on us getting to know one another better. We have discussed some of favorite things, first experiences, and those friends that we hold near to our hearts. However, there is a dynamic duo that we haven't discussed, our better halves. Tony and April have been instrumental in our journeys, both individually and collectively. From the very beginning Octavia's journey was not easy. Bouncing between different family members' homes, a survivor of abuse, and child of the foster care system, her road has been filled with highs and lows.
