One of the most common causes for a misperception of someone is to think your perception is flawless. Perceptions can hinder us or bless us, but they undoubtedly will affect us. As Paul wrote to Timothy, it is only God that can give us "a sound mind" to view each other with clarity.

God places His will for our lives into our hands. It is up to us whether we will submit and walk in His will or disobey and live outside of His will. In order to fulfill His purpose and see the miraculous, each of us must cut away any fleshly desires that are not pleasing to Him.

One of the saddest things that could ever happen to a child of God is for them to lose their sense of wonder in His presence. We should constantly be amazed at the fact that He loves us enough to save us. We must never let the spirit of God become so familiar that it no longer has the power to change us.

In the Bible, leaven is understood to be a representation of sin. Although none of us are instructed to remove leaven from our neighbor's house, we are all instructed to clean the leaven out of our own lives. We all must do our own "Leaven Inspection."
