British professional triathlete Joe Skipper has been handed an 18-month competition ban for an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) caused by three whereabouts failures within a 12-month window. We consider how accessible these treatments may become and whether existing testing rules can keep pace. We chat to Bruna Maia and Fabienne Maia of Augo Training. Augo is an intelligent assistant software platform designed specifically for endurance sports coaches and their athletes. It provides a central platform that streamlines communication, daily task prioritisation, performance data analysis and workout planning acting as an 'intelligence layer' for sports coaching. The platform uses artificial intelligence to remember client preferences, track past injuries and flag exactly which athletes need immediate plan adjustments.
