Happy Wednesday, Friends!
Mental Health Awareness Month continues and so do our conversations about it. In this week’s episode we’re discussing teenage suicide - the risks, what to look for as a parent to get your child the help they need and Jenny opens up about her own experience as a parent of a teenage son (with his permission) who was acutely suicidal.
Please remember In a crisis situation, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK or text the Crisis Text Line by texting ‘TALK’ to 741741 to speak or text with a trained counselor who can provide guidance on the most appropriate next steps and resources. Calling 911 is best for situations when self-harm is occurring or is about to occur.
