Holocaust survivor Hedi Argent experienced deadly hate as a Jewish child in 1930s Vienna. She turned that into a career dedicated to love in her adopted country the UK. Her work there championed the rights of children others had written off as 'unadoptable'. Because her experience under the Nazis showed her the horror of hate, but the redeeming power of kindness.
