Dr. Kusum D’sa began her journey in the field of education and branched out to counselling, having seen firsthand the need for mental health services in her career with children. ஹிரண்யகர்பா போரில் தோற்றதற்குத் தலைவிதிதான் காரணம் என்று சொன்னது. காகத்தைப் பற்றி எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற தனது அறிவுரையை அரசன் வேண்டுமென்றே புறக்கணித்ததையும், காகம் அவருக்குத் துரோகம் செய்ததையும் மன்னனின் மந்திரி சர்வாங்யா சுட்டிக்காட்டியது. இந்த தோல்விக்குக்  காரணம் தலைவிதி இல்லை  ராஜாவின் விவேகமற்ற முடிவுதான் என்று சர்வாங்யா சொன்னது.

இந்தக் கருத்தை  வலியுறுத்துவதற்காக ஒரு முட்டாள் ஆமையின் கதை சர்வாங்யா அரசனிடம்  கூறியது.

இந்த பகுதியில் இடம் பெறுவது திருக்குறளின் 18வது அதிகாரமான வெஃகாமையின் முதல் ஐந்து குறள்கள். வெஃகாமை என்றால் பிறருடைய பொருட்களின் மேல் ஆசைப்படாமல் இருப்பது. ஆசை வந்து விட்டால் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாமல் நினைத்ததை அடைவதற்கு எதையும் செய்யச் சிலர் தயங்கமாட்டார்கள். இது அழிவைத்தான் உண்டாக்கும். நடுநிலைத் தவறி பிறர் பொருளை விரும்புதல் பெருங்குற்றம் ஆகும். பிறர் பொருளைக் கவர நினைப்பதை முளையிலேயே அகற்ற வேண்டும் என்று இந்த அதிகாரம் எடுத்துக் கூறுகிறது.

The peacock king Chitravarna was about to crown the crow as the king of Jambu Dveepa in the last episode. He was stopped by his minister, the Vulture. Although the crow was the vulture's spy, he did not trust him. He warned Chitravarna not to give him such an important position for he might plot to kill him like the mouse who became a tiger wanted to kill the Sage.

மூன்றாவது பகுதியான 'போர் தொடுத்தல்'  பகுதியில்  ராஜா ஹிரண்யகர்பா  மயில் மன்னனுக்கு எதிரான போரில் காக்கை மேகவர்ணாவின் சூழ்ச்சியால்   தோல்வியுற்றது. புத்திசாலியான குரு விஷ்ணு ஷர்மா கதைகளின் தொடரை விவரிக்கையில் ஒரு போரை எதிர்த்துப் போராடுவதற்கான அனைத்து கொள்கைகளையும் உள்ளடக்கியிருந்தார். எந்த நாடும் செழிக்க வேண்டுமானால் அங்கே அமைதி இருக்க வேண்டும். நான்காவது பகுதியில் கதைகளை ஆரம்பிக்கும் போது விஷ்ணு ஷர்மா 'அமைதி' அல்லது 'சமாதானம் செய்வது' பற்றிச் சொல்ல ஆரம்பித்தார். 

குரு தன் மாணவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லும் கதையைக் கேட்டு ரசியுங்கள்.  '

The Swan king blamed bad luck for losing the war. Sarvangya, the king's minister, pointed out that the king had willfully ignored his advice to be wary of the crow and that the crow had betrayed him. It wasn't his bad luck, but the king's unwise decision.

A story of a foolish tortoise was narrated by Sarvangya to reiterate this point.

திருக்குறளின் 16வது அதிகாரமான பொறையுடைமை அதிகாரத்திலிருந்து ஆறிலிருந்து பத்து வரை உள்ள குறள்களை  இந்த பகுதியில் நாம் பார்க்கப்போகிறோம்.
 பொறையுடைமை என்றால் பொறுத்துக்கொள்ளும் பண்பாகும்.  ஒருவர் நமக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யும் போது அதைப் பொறுத்துக் கொண்டு மறந்துவிட வேண்டும் என்று இந்த அதிகாரம் சொல்கிறது.

The third section 'Waging War' ended with the Swan king losing the war against the Peacock king, because of scheming crow Megavarna. The clever Guru Vishnu Sharman had included all the principles of fighting a war as he narrated the series of stories.  For any kingdom to thrive there must be peace. And that notion is precisely what Vishnu Sharman had in mind when he started the stories in the fourth section 'peace'. Come and listen to the story that the Guru is telling his pupils.
