In today's podcast fishing report we discuss everything from tunas blitzing on pogies to catching fluke from shore. We start things off with MFCC founder and creator Ryan Collins who was on the water in Cape Cod Bay when we spoke. Ryan fills us in on what he's been encountering in the bay as well as south of Martha's Vineyard. In addition, Ryan summarizes some of the reports being shared inside the MFCC forum for the canal and elsewhere around the Upper Cape. Next up is Sam Mullen from the Goose Hummock Shop who also touches upon the deepwater Cape Cod Bay bass bite. In addition, Sam enlightens us on the Outer Cape surfcasting bite, as well as the action up at Provincetown. According to Sam, black sea bass are also still being caught in Nantucket Sound and lots of people are coming into the shop to get ready for the offshore tuna bite. We finish today's podcast with a call to My Fishing Cape Cod member Bruno Demir of Cape & Islands Mitsubishi. Bruno has been fishing a lot aboard his 26' Downeast boat the Gaviota and he's been having good luck with stripers and bluefish of up to 36 inches in Nantucket Sound. According to Bruno the fluke bite southeast of Cape Cod is heating up, but the tuna fishing remains quiet - however that could change any day now.
