Anyone who was on the Internet ten years ago remembers how important Flickr was. For posting and sharing photos and for connecting with other photographers online, there was no better service. Now Flickr has been eclipsed by newer and more powerful players—Google, Apple, and Amazon, to name a few—who better understand the habits and needs of the mobile photographer.

Earlier this week, Flickr removed the ability for non-paying users to automatically upload all of their photos, a feature the other photo storage services offer for free. Our hosts discuss why these changes happened, and what this means for die-hard Flickr users, Yahoo, and the rest of us.
