On this episode of Games Witticism, we being with the revelation that I have never seen a single episode of Seinfeld. Luke takes it upon himself to educate me. Once I've finally been schooled, we move on to Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fantasy Life, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and A Sailor's Dream. We also take a moment to regale you with the stories of how each of us broke our first game consoles when we were stupid children.

It's Luke's birthday, which means everyone has to endure him playing more Metal Gear! We talk about Binding of Isaac, Dragon Age, Massive Chalice, um... probably some... other stuff... I'm gonna level with you, this is Luke writing this week's episode summary, and I can't be bothered to actually listen back to remember what we talked about. BIRTHDAY, SUCKERS! Opening music is "Yell Dead Cell" from the MGS2 soundtrack, and the closing music is the theme from MGS2.

On this episode of Games Witticism, who even cares about video games? They're passe. We'd much rather gush about Battlebots/Robot Wars, Pacific Rim and Real Steel. I mean, I guess we can talk about Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Sunset Overdrive and Dragon Age 2 to at least pretend this podcast as something to do with its title. But let's be honest: if I could pilot Striker Eureka, I wouldn't need video games.

On this episode of Games Witticism, we talk mostly about games that suck all your free time away. Alex teaches us about the intricacies of Monster Hunter, and Luke returns to PC gaming by finally getting around to Civilization 5 (and immediately getting obsessed with it). Other topics include: things we've Kickstarted, who the heck owns the Journeyman Project IP now, and a fascinating journey to discover the anime characters that Super Smash Bros. voice actors have been cast as.

So we've recorded another one of these things. You can listen to it if you want, I guess. After a brief tangent where we try to figure out how many of Kamiya's fetishes merged together to create Bayonetta, we actually start talking about video games. Like how I no longer have the will to play Destiny after realizing I can't actually play it with my friends. On the bright side, my ranting eventually prompts Luke to reveal his experiences playing FFXI...on the PS2. Once we finally pry ourselves away from MMOs, I finish up my part of the podcast by giving my impressions on Dreamfall Chapters: Book One. Then Bob gives me a strange sense of deja vu by talking about Banished and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. And Luke brings us to the climax (eh? get it?) with Bayonetta 1 & 2. Oh, and because we don't have enough video games to talk about, we review some books, too. Luke tries to get us to read Infinite Jest, and I attempt to defend House of Leaves from Bob's fury.

It's a skeleton crew on this week's episode, with Luke and I being the only ones who could make it. This means you get a slightly less bloated episode for once. I spend most of my time talking about Shadow of Mordor and The Novelist, then Luke chats about Smash Bros. Realizing we've quickly run out of topics, we prolong things a little by discussing Platinum Games, Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

On this episode of Games Witticism, we decide to start off by talking about Big Trouble in Little China rather than, you know, any video games. Eventually, though, I get around to giving my impressions on Shadow of Mordor and Alien Isolation. Bob and Luke get way too deep into Hearthstone discussion. Then Bob rediscovers his love for Guild Wars 2 while I try and explain why it actually kind of sucks. We top it all off by spending a good long time both praising and burying Destiny.

On this week's episode of Games Witticism, we talk about not one but TWO different fighting games! First up is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, which gives us yet another excuse to talk about Persona (and gives Luke an excuse to make fun of me). Then we end up spending most of the rest of the podcast talking about Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS. We do, of course, manage to talk about other games, too, like Don't Starve, Ouendan, and Theatrhythm: Curtain Call.
